vertical ōban; musha-e; possibly a sumizuri-e, though more likely a key block print for nishiki-e

Label Text:
The title of this print appears at top-right, while the artist and publisher are identified in the inscriptions at top-left. At center of the upper border is the mark of publisher Yamadaya Shōjirō of the firm Kinkyōdō. The two circular seals on either side of the publisher's mark are the aratame seal (right) and the date seal (left) of the official censor, which indicate a date of inspection and approval the fourth lunar month of 1854 (Kaei 7).
