Label Text:
This print is signed at lower-right "Kasentei Kunitomi ga" ('drawn by Kasentei Kunitomi'), below which is the mark of publisher Yamaguchiya Tōbei of the firm Kinkōdō, represented by a stylized version of the katakana character "to," and the circular kiwame seal of the censor. The title of the print appears at left. While they are not present in this scene, the courtesan Shirakawa's two attendants, known as kamuro, are listed alongside her name.
