This print is signed at lower-left "Kitao Shigemasa ga" ('drawn by Kitao Shigemasa'). The publisher's seal is at lower-right and represents Iseya Kinbei. The design of that particular seal was used in the late 1760s through the 1770s. The character and actor's name are written vertically descending at top-left. Additionally, the actor can be identified by his 'mon' or crest, visible on the kimono sleeve.
