Label Text:
This work is not signed but has the artist's seal, which reads "Kyōkatsu," in lower-right of the right panel. At lower-left of the left panel is the publisher's seal, printed in red in the shape of a shield, identifying the publisher as Katsuki Yoshikatsu of the firm Shōshōdō. This seal also gives the publisher's address as Tokyo Shitaya Sukiyamachi 15-banchi and indicates the date of publication as March, 1904 (Meiji 37).

There is another impression of this triptych at the Boston MFA (2000.458a-c), though the publisher has there been misidentified as Matsuki Heikichi, another prominent publisher of images of the Russo-Japanese War.
