Label Text:
Two other editions and states of this design are held by the Boston MFA (200.481a–c and 68.805–7). The relocation of the central title cartouche, as well as slight differences in coloration, could indicate that this version was published later for inclusion in an album format. As there are no surviving publisher's marks, owing to extensive trimming, it is not possible to make such a concrete attribution at this point; however, the differences between the three versions are not stark enough as to warrant attribution to a different publisher. - BB, 2014
