Label Text:
Another example of this design is held by the Boston MFA (2000.421a–c), which is dated to August, 1895. It is likely that this impression is from the original edition by Inoue Kichijirō (firm name Teikadō), given its coloration and sharpness of line, or it may, like many of the other prints in this album, be from a later edition. There are no surviving publisher's marks, however, so such a firm attribution is not possible at this point. - BB, 2014
