Description:
This is no. 118 (winter section) on the title page for the One hundred famous views of Edo series. A vertical winter scene with a group of reddish/pink foxes gathering under two trees in the foreground; each fox has a fire besides the head; more foxes in the middle ground and a village in the background, sitting beneath a dark hill; many bright stars in the sky.
