Description:
A view of the ancient Roman Forum. To the left is a fountain from which cattle drink with three large columns behind. To the far left is an early modern church facade, only half of which is visible. There are medieval and early modern buildings in the middle and far distance, and a hay cart and animal pen in the foreground to the right. Below the image is an inscription with the title and a key to the numbered elements of the composition.
