Description:
Objects; Architecture; Fireplace
Head of Medusa at center of mantel, flanked by warrior centaurs. Theatrical motifs, including masks, on pillars as well as on rectancampgular decorative piece in firebox. Various other iconographic decorations present, such as sphinxes at top of pillars, cupids/eros above mantel, and hippocampi on piece in firebox.
