Description:
Octagonal-shaped molded dish for serving strawberries with four paw feet and two handles, dish has eight sides and a flat base, the dish is covered all over in yellow lead glaze, the dish is also decorated in overglaze red enamel on the rim, and painted lines between the different paneled sections of the dish, and on the toes of the paw feet; the rim of the dish is pierced with alternating small heart shapes; the base of the dish is pierced with groups of diamonds and holes, hearts, and half-moons; the handles are decorated with eye-like motifs, impressed mark on the underside of the dish, “SHORTHOSE”. Condition: One-inch hairline crack extending from rim to foot. some glaze losses to the feet,
