Description:
Oval, molded twig basket, central oval base is molded like a woven basket, the sides of the bowl are composed of straps of clay with a woven strand of clay in the center and a circular rim of clay with a woven strand along the rim; the basket is covered all over in yellow lead glaze; the piece is also decorated with overglaze enamels in green and red, the straps of the sides of the basket are painted red and the other decoration is green, impressed mark on the base of the object, "WEDGWOOD.
