Description: Etching entitled: "Don Tonsorio, Chiverero, Scrapero, Trimerado, Cove of the Sniveling Chive, Vulgarly call'd a Barber. Erected out of his own utensils, without the assistance of nature, by Don Pizzeraio" printed by George Bickham the younger. Satire on barbers showing a figure composed from implements connected with the trade, with F. Hammond's publication line erased and replaced by Bickham's, lettered with title, a key to the elements in the composition, and with the original address replaced by "Sold by G.Bickham in May's Buildings, Covent Garden And of all Print Sellers of London and Westminster, a goat, a pony and a calf added behind the heads on blocks, the letter "i" added to the central name (now reading "Gri-ng-r") and the word "Warehouse" added to the other two; further decoration in the cartouches at top left and right.
