Description:
octagonal lacquer tray with lavender background and painted decoration. Central scene of a youth in in white trousers and hat, gold coat, sitting on blue cloak serenading a young girl dressed in white and sitting on a chest on which is a vase of flowers. Scroll and floral design in blue, gold and red around edges. Exterior is black lacquer with red at edges with central floral design in rose, yellow and green
