Description:
Silver bow-type sugar tongs with bright-cut decoration and long oval cups, which are marked "H.BOND" on the inside of each grip for Henry Bond,and engraved with the initial "N" in gothic script on the hoop. Flynt and Fales note that Henry Bobd was listed in the Boston Directory of 1807 as a goldsmith and jeweler.
