Description:
Silver teaspoon with a spatulate-end handle with a midrib and elliptical bowl with a drop, which is marked "GH" possibly for George Hanners, Jr. (1721-1760). This mark is not one of the two listed for George Hanners, Jr. by Patricia Kane. Kane notes that some authorities have attributed initial marks to him, although these attributions have not been proved, and thus far cannot be veriifed.
