Description:
Diminutive bedstead, possibly for a child, with large oval-shaped finials above maple posts with vase and ring-shaped turnings. The tiger maple head and footboards are tenoned to the posts and are each composed of a single framed rectangular panel surmounted by large overhanging half-round molding. The head and foot rails are mortised, tenoned, and pinned to the posts. The bedstead is missing its original side rails.
