Description:
Coffeepot, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, prob. Harvey Filley Tinshop, c. 1825-50. Tinned sheet iron, paint. Red ground with floral decoration of red and yellow flowers, picked out in calligraphic style, conical pot. Condition: very fragile, flaking paint surface, handle as little as possible.
