Description:
Circular pewter dish, stamped "MADE IN LONDON", "...SEND" , "Crowned A" mark and "Crowned K" mark, attributed to John Townsend (1748-1755) with pseudo hallmarks, labeled with white paper label #15. According to Wayne Hilt, pewter expert and dealer, this plate was made for the export market.
