Description:
Powder horn inscribed "James*Kon*Kuns*Horn / Made*in*Bed*Ford*1784" and attributed to the Bedford carver (w. 1778-1785). This horn is in the same style as the Forman horn (#111), with identical calligraphy and a similarly detailed ship. Instead of formations of soldiers, however, this example has only a single uniformed soldier standing facing the stern of the ship.
