SKINNER CATALOGUE: A cream pitcher in pink and copper luster, with superimposed classical figures in white, said to be earlier than Wedgwood jasper ware. The figures (showing a fire and goat, a Grecian urn, and a chariot, with winged gods) are of much cruder workmanship than jasper ware. The pitcher is in excellent condition; just a slight crack in the bottom. Flat top line. Not marked. Height 3 1/4" Diam. top 2 3/4". Cat. 11/19/1937
