SKINNER CATALOGUE: A Bennington ware pitcher in characteristic mottled brown clay. Ribbed sides, deep nose, scroll decorated, and slightly scrolled handle. Impressed on the bottom: Lyman Fenton & Co. Fenton's Enamel Patented 1849 Bennington, Vt. In excellent condition except for a slight check in the handle and three tiny chips in the nose. Height 8 1/8". Cat. 10/28/1937.
