Description:
black ink on elm veneer. framed; This item depicts a full detailed view of the Great Elm. The tree had stood from Native American times and was destroyed in a storm in 1876. Before that, it had been a popular tourist attraction throughout the 1800s. The dome of the State House can be seen above the trees.
