Label Text:
The child holds a cover sheet in his left hand that reads "The Famous Sites of Edo" ('Edo meisho no uchi'). In his left, he holds a gameboard print based on those famous sites, which is signed "Hiroshige ga" ('drawn by Hiroshige'), and is based on an actual print by the master. The identity of the publisher of this print is unknown but is referred to in scholarly works as Nunokichi. This print bears the seal of censor of Murata Sahei. - BB 2013
