Child’s or toy tea and coffee services of these models and patterns are difficult to date precisely because Wedgwood and other English factories continued to produce them in Queen’s ware, creamware and pearlware from about 1780 well into the 19th century. Wedgwood creamware child’s coffee pot and cover, circa 1800-10. Baluster-form body with a straight spout and loop handle, cover with a ball knop, and each piece with an iron-red feathery foliate border between brown lines, the rims and edges outlined also with brown lines, the glaze with a slightly bluish tinge, impressed "WEDGWOOD" mark. 5 in. h.
