This refined version of Leonardo's original single spool Flyer Spindle uses double wheels to operate the projecting flyer shaft. Raw cotton fibers are passes through the flyer, twisted into thread, and evenly distributed on two revolving spools by the back and forth action of the projecting flyer shaft. - Dr. Roberto A.
