Description:
A short scimitar from the East with curved fine steel chased blade, 15 1/2" long, 1" wide. Small S shaped steel guard terminating at each end in a small hammered ball. 6 1/4" wooden handle, roughly L shaped, inlaid with fine flat brass, and with thin sheet brass ferule. Scabbord of wood with brass inlay and four brass bands, one missing. Point end broken off.
