Description:
A battery of cannon, two of which are visible in the left half of the plate, firing on a town seen in the distance to the right. Smoke plumes rise up from the cannon and two men are rolling or uncorking barrels, possibly of gun powder, to the right of the cannon. An officer wearing a plumed hat and standing in the lower left corner looks over the scene, as does a solder wearing a helmet to the far right of the image.
