Description:
one of portfolio of 6 woodcuts and descriptive running text in rhyming verse, beginning on intro/title page and ending on endpiece
To the right the skeleton stands on a barricade holding a flag in his proper right hand and begins to disrobe. Two the left men are blown backwards by a canon partly visible to far right while others fire guns.
