Description:
"Instanbul, November 2007, Wrongful Death Suit Blackwater Worldwide Services"

Label Text:
Daniel Heyman’s Blackwater Accordion Book: Even the Stones Cried Blood artfully documents the testimonies of Iraqi survivors of shootings in Baghdad’s Nisour Square on September 16, 2007, involving Blackwater, the company charged with maintaining the U.S. occupation. Heyman rendered their likenesses expressionistically and scrawled graffiti-like passages of their provocative testimony around them.
