Description: Molded shell-edge child’s plate, underglaze blue painted scalloped rim, transfer printed in underglaze cobalt blue in center of well, “A Present from the Potteries” and a scene of a young woman with sheep with a house, windmill, and large tree in the background. On the underside is a paper dealer's label for Sampson & Horne Antiques, which reads: "Staffs. c. 1800/ 1E96" and a paper label which reads, "70-10-22 S + H/ Child's Plate Eng./"Potteries" 1800." Condition: Plate is stained.
