Description:
Still life of accoutrements of popular kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjūrō VII, including writing implements, tanzaku poetry cards, and folding fans with symbols of the actor: a miniature portrait of the actor in his famous Shibaraku role, a poem composed by him, and a peony in bloom. Poem on top by Jingairō Kiyozumi.

One fan bears a poem by Ichikawa Danjuro VII, others show the peony, a personal symbol, and his portrait in a Shibaraku role. The verse is by Jingairo Kiyozumi. - BB, 7/28/2014
