Description:
Full-length portrait of a woman in a black dress with white sleeves trimmed with lace cuffs and a straight lace collar; her hair is parted in the center, decorated with white flowers, and is in two braids tied with pink bows; she wears a three-strand pearl necklace, drop pearl earrings, onyx and gold rings, and on her left temple, a chiqueador; she holds a pair of gloves in her left hand; her right hand rests on an ornate box placed on a table draped with a red gold-trimmed cloth; there is a knotted red curtain at the top right corner of the painting
