Description:
Chinese export porcelain plate decorated in blue with a birds flying over a two-story pagoda flanked by two buildings, and a man with an umbrella crssing a bridge in the foreground in the well; a dark blue diaper pattern and three reserves with stylized flowers and scrolling ribbons around the curvature; two rows of pierced ovals around the rim and a double blue line around the rim edge. The plate was purchased by the donor at the Fuller family sale in the Wapping area of Deerfield in August, 1974.
