Description:
English pearlware, miniature teacup and saucer, decorated in underglaze blue enamel. The outside of the cup is decorated with a chinoiserie landscape with a pagoda-like building, flying birds, trees, foliage sprays, and fences. The interior rim is encircled by two plain and scalloped bands, and the well has a stylized foliage spray. The saucer has the same rim decoration, with a tall house and stylized foliage in the well.
