Description:
English soft-paste porcelain bowl decorated with a chinoiserie landscape scene in blue with a three-story pagoda-like building, man holding a banner-like pole, large flying birds (duck?), running fence, trees, and foliage, and marked on the base is marked with a "9." This bowl had been originally thought to be Lowestoft; however, members of the English Ceramic Circle during their visit on May 13, 2010, determined that the bowl was not Lowestoft but made by one of the Liverpool manufacturers.
