Description:
English pearlware, press-molded figure of Adam and Eve painted in overglaze enamels including green, salmon, rust red, yellow, black, and blue. There are two nude, winged figures, with their arms embracing, standing in front of a tree with a bird, on a flat base with an apple and snake (probably a replacement). The marblelized, octagonal base has clipped corners, and the underside is marked in black ink "43 KG."
