Description:
On a beige book page, the image of a woman (the Greek princess Ariadne in the artist's imagination) sitting on a stack of burning books is clearly printed in black ink. The page itself only a singular word in bold italic and all capitals: "Firebird". This creates a negative space for the print to clearly show.
