Narrative Inscription:	In brown ink on paper tied to around the sticks: " 'pulu', exported from the Sandwich Islands for stuffing mattresses - obtained from three species of Cibotium ferns. The crowns of the stems bearing the hairlike scales. The substance has also valuable styptic properties."

Description:
Missionary Cabinet. Approximately 30 thin, smooth sticks, mostly cream colored with some brown and golden discoloration (probably natural).
