Description:
oban diptych, publisher: Kawaguchiya Shoro. The creature in the coulds is Tamamo No Mae, a fox who transformed itself into a beautiful woman in India, China, and finally Japan, to bewitch their rulers. Her nature was revealed in her last incarnation in the Heran court, and she changed back into a fox again.
