Description:
This small pot likely was used for small amounts of salve to treat minor wounds or conditions, perhaps for the eyes. Miniature gallipot or dispensing pot, London, England, c. 1680-1725. Tin-glazed earthenware (delftware). Very small pot with round bowl (shape of a finger), pinched waist, and canted foot, Paper label attached to base reads, "Mor/ London/ 1680" Condition: There a small chips to the rim.
