Description: A blurry and atmospheric black and white perspective of two houses and a telephone pole at the end of a tree-lined rural street. The façade and front yard of one house is bathed in light and all detail is lost. The side view of the second house reveals exterior details and light emanating from inside. One of twenty objects in the portfolio, “Traces,” inspired by the poem of the same title by Annie G. Label Text: Artist's statement: “I responded to the sense of nostalgia and special place that permeated the poem. My image seeks to portray a kind of coming home or memory of home – the warm light at the end of a road on a winter evening.”
