Description:
This carved miniature shows a Navajo man (dressed in a red headband, red shirt, turquoise necklace, concha belt, turquoise ring, white pants, and red shoes) working silver. He leans over a piece of silver, gently removing and melding pieces for use in jewelry. Beside him is a small fire, used to manipulate the metal. AP2018
