Description:
Base design of a striding horse. Above is a neb-sign (basket hieroglyph) meaning "lord." Like a lion, a horse sometimes symbolizes a king. Horses were first introduced into Egypt in the Hyksos Period (Dyn. 17), and are frequently featured on scarabs on Dyn. 18.
