Description:
Tall, ovocylindrical jar with high, straight, neck, gray ground with blue, rose, orange, brown, and black decoration. Upper 3/4s of body covered with blue and brown floral design, with brown eagle on each side, splashes of orange just behind the figure of the bird (national symbol of Mexico). High neck has buff ground with large orange and blue blossoms spaced around; ring rim badly chipped. Low slanting foot. Very small loop handles. Illust. "Casa Manana", Exhibit. Probably #64 in American Federation of Arts, Mexican Art, 1903-31.
