Description:
Head with tall headdress and band around forehead. Clay: pink/orange; coarse; slip: buff; paint: traces of black. Head with nose, mouth and ears only. Features modelled; wearing wig with disk above; black pigment on wig, disc and neck; broken off at neck; forehead and front of wig battered. Hand-formed, with applied nose, oval disk ears, and band of hair that goes across forehead and then down behind both ears. Solid core.
