SKINNER CATALOGUE: A very fine pipe rack in curly maple, dating from the early 18th century. Scrolled and cut out ornamentation at top, with heart shaped aperture for hanging; deep pocket for pipes; small drawer for tobacco at bottom. Overall 19" x 5 1/4" x 4 1/4". Owners names written on the back in white ink, as of March 31 - 1891:
