SKINNER CATALOGUE: An Empire bureau or chest of four drawers. Four posts are oak, otherwise pine throughout. The drawer fronts and a narrow paneling outside of the drawer molding have been refinished with a mahogany stain and varnish, the rest is refinished with gray paint. Flat top and front, nailed molding top and bottom, heavy turned 7 1/4 inch legs. Drawers dovetail construction, plain brass key escutcheons, but no key holes, handles brass lined escutcheon and oval drop wire. 47 5/8" x 43 3/4" x 20" Cat. 12/30/1936
