SKINNER CATALOGUE: Chair. A 19th century slat back side chair in maple (?) painted dark brown. Three slats very slightly curved, middle one doweled. Front and back posts plain except for tiny stub finials. Two front, two side, and single back stretchers plain. The whole chair shows the deteriorative influence of the factory 19th century productions. Twisted rush seat not original. Height: back 34 3/4" seat 15 1/2" Diam. posts 1 1/2" Cat. 8/20/1936.
