SKINNER CATALOGUE: Chair. A cute child's rocking arm chair in typical 19th century Boston rocker style. Rolled seat and arms, raked four spindle back, top slat curved on the top corners, hemispherically recessed at the joint with the outside spindles, front legs, front stretcher, and arm posts mildly ring turned, single stretchers front, sides, and back. Painted the usual dark brown with red brown grainings and both green and yellow linings. No stencillings. Cane seat. Height: back 2 3/4" seat 8 3/4" Diam. legs 3/16" Cat. 8/20/1936
