giga; nishiki-e; two chūban printed on an uncut vertical ōban

Label Text:
The upper chūban is signed at lower-right "Yoshitoshi" and bears the artist's seal, which reads "Taiso" ('great resurrection'), a term used by the artist after recovering from a nervous breakdown he experienced in 1871–1872. The lower chūban is signed at lower-right "Yoshitoshi" and also features an artist's seal that reads "Taiso."
